Tore Renberg

Tore Renberg (born 1972) is a Norwegian writer whose work encompasses a broad range of themes and styles. He is regarded as one of Norway’s most popular and successful authors and has received several awards. His books have been published in 23 countries. His first historical novel, *Die Lungenschwimmprobe*, was based on extensive research in Saxony, including work in archives, museums and church records, as well as on-site research in Leipzig.
