Karoline Hippe

Karoline Hippe grew up on the Baltic coast and studied Scandinavian Studies, English Studies and language acquisition research, among other subjects. She worked as a translator of literary works from Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and English into German. Authors she translated include Heidi Furre, Lotta Elstad, Ida Lødemel Tvedt and Oliver Lovrenski. Her translation of Espen Dekko’s children’s book *Sommer ist trotzdem* received the Silberne Feder award.
