Toni Jordan

Toni Jordan was born in Brisbane and studied science at the University of Queensland. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a microbiologist, food chemist and marketing manager. Her debut novel, Tausend kleine Schritte, became an international bestseller and was nominated in Australia for the Miles Franklin Award and the Barbara Jefferis Award. The novel also received numerous honors, including a reader poll naming it the “Best Debut of the Year.” Her other novels include Dinner mit den Schnabels, Eine fast perfekte Frau, Die Neun Tage and Verabredung mit einem Tasmanischen Tiger.
