Kai Taschner, born in 1957, is a German actor, voice actor, and dubbing director. He first appeared in front of a camera at the age of 15 and went on to take on numerous roles in theater and television. As a voice actor, he contributed to more than 600 productions; his voice is particularly associated with the telephone calls in the horror film series “Scream.” He also directed, among other projects, the German-language dubbing of the animated film “Chicken Little” (2005) and worked as an audiobook narrator.
