Thomas Lindenberger

Thomas Lindenberger (born 1955) studied history and philosophy. He earned his doctorate in 1992 and completed his habilitation in 2002. In 2008, he was appointed adjunct professor of contemporary and modern history at the University of Potsdam. From 2009 to 2012, he headed the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for European History and the Public Sphere in Vienna. In 2012, he took over the leadership of the “Communism and Society” department at the Leibniz Center for Contemporary History Potsdam.
