Sebastian Koch

Sebastian Koch (born 1962 in Karlsruhe) is a German actor. He trained at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. He became known, among other roles, for portraying Andreas Baader in Heinrich Breloer’s television drama “Todesspiel” (1997) and Georg Dreyman in Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’s award-winning film “The Lives of Others” (2006). In 2002, Koch received two Grimme Awards and the Bavarian Television Award. In 2007, he was awarded the Italian Globo d’Oro for Best European Actor for his performance in “The Lives of Others”.
