Sven Beckstette is an art historian. He studied art history, German studies, and modern and contemporary history in Münster and Berlin. Before 2016, he worked as a curator at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart. From 2016 onward, he was responsible for curatorial work on the Nationalgalerie collection at the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin.
