Susanne Kraft

Susanne Kraft was born in 1965 and trained as a visual merchandiser. She worked as an artist and exhibited her works in cities including Cannes and Paris. From 2017 onward, she published children’s books as an illustrator and author. She created the character Bärbel, a cuckoo girl and mascot associated with the Black Forest. Her first book focused on the origins of the cuckoo clock.
