Georg Schwikart

Georg Schwikart (born 1964) studied comparative religious studies, theology and folklore in Neuburg an der Donau, Bonn and Tübingen, earning a doctorate in philosophy. He is a writer and publicist whose work includes fiction, religious nonfiction and stories for children, young people and adults. He has also contributed to anthologies, newspapers, magazines and radio. Recurring themes in his work include death and dying. Schwikart is a member of the Association of German Writers and has authored more than three dozen books, some of which have been translated into other languages.
