Mechthild Schroeter-Rupieper

Mechthild Schroeter-Rupieper is a family bereavement counselor and is regarded as a pioneer of family bereavement work in Germany and the German-speaking region. For more than 30 years, she has worked with families, children, and young people following the loss of a relative. She founded the Lavia Institute for Family Bereavement Support and has contributed as a specialist lecturer to the training of counselors working with bereaved children and adolescents. She has also published numerous books on grief and bereavement.
