Stewart O′Nan

Stewart O’Nan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1961 and grew up in Boston. Before becoming a writer, he worked as an aircraft engineer and studied literature at Cornell University. His debut novel, *The Names of the Dead* [German: „Engel im Schnee“], received the William Faulkner Award in 1993. His numerous novels include *Emily, Alone* and *The Odds* [German: „Die Chance“].
