Reviewed by GabrieleThe writing is typical O‘Nan, the scenery and the authentic feeling is what I like. The plot initially leads one to expect a thriller, which of course is not the case, otherwise it wouldn't be O'Nan. It's the teenage angst that makes up the main tension. It's fascinating that O'Nan - for me - manages it authentically. He’s 62 now.
