Stephan Gebauer

Stephan Gebauer, born in 1968, is a German translator. He worked as a freelance translator for more than twenty years and translated numerous nonfiction books and other works into German. The authors he translated include Carl Bernstein, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Angus Deaton, Niall Ferguson, Barack Obama, Robert Shiller, and Joseph Stiglitz. For Suhrkamp and Insel, he translated works by, among others, Paul Mason, Quinn Slobodian, and Branko Milanović.
