Stefan Maurer

Stefan Maurer, born in Linz in 1981, studied German philology or German studies, theatre studies and philosophy at the University of Vienna, where he received his doctorate in 2018. The literary scholar has worked at the Franz Nabl Institute for Literary Research at the University of Graz and has headed the library and collections or the archive at Literaturhaus Wien. His publications address Austrian literature after 1945, the Austrian literary scene and archival theory. His books include Wolfgang Kraus und der österreichische Literaturbetrieb nach 1945 (2020); he also co-edited Heimat und Horror bei Elfriede Jelinek (2019) and Verschachtelt und (v)erschlossen (2023).
