Sophie Zeitz

Sophie Zeitz (born in 1972 in Frankfurt am Main) studied American studies, Romance languages and literature, and philosophy in Heidelberg, Granada and Munich. She first worked as an editor before becoming a freelance literary translator in 2001. Authors whose works she has translated from English include John Green, Douglas Stuart, Raven Leilani, Henry David Thoreau and Joseph Conrad. Her translations have received multiple awards.
