John Green

John Green (born 1977) is an American author, video blogger and podcaster. He became known for his debut novel, Looking for Alaska (2005), which received several awards and was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize. His other young adult novels include An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns, The Fault in Our Stars and Turtles All the Way Down. The Fault in Our Stars became an international bestseller and was adapted into a film. Green received, among other honors, the Corine and the Buxtehuder Bulle. Together with his brother Hank, he was involved in the video blog Vlogbrothers. His essay collection The Anthropocene Reviewed was published in 2021.
