Sonja Finck (born 1978) is a literary translator. She studied literary translation in Düsseldorf and Madrid and translates novels and plays from French and English into German. Authors whose work she has translated include Annie Ernaux, Jocelyne Saucier, Didier Eribon, Édouard Louis, and Wajdi Mouawad. Before studying translation, she trained in circus arts in Toulouse. Her work has received several awards, including the André Gide Prize, the German Youth Literature Prize, and the Eugen Helmlé Prize for her lifetime achievement in translation in 2019.
