Solvej Balle

Solvej Balle (born 1962 in Bovrup) studied literature and philosophy in Copenhagen and published her first novel in 1984. After extensive travels through Europe, America, Canada and Australia, she became editor of the literary journal Den blå port in 1996. She published literary works of her own and translated, among others, texts by Rosmarie Waldrop from English. Her novel Nach dem Gesetz was published in German.
