Shahak Shapira

Shahak Shapira, born in 1988, grew up in Israel and immigrated to Germany with his family in 2002. He became known as a stand-up comedian, satirist, author, and artist. In early 2017, his project YOLOCAUST sparked a debate about young people’s engagement with remembrance culture. A recurring theme in his work is a critical examination of online society.
