Selma Noort

Selma Noort was born in Leiden in 1960 and grew up there. She began writing while training as a kindergarten teacher and published her first book as a teenager with the Amsterdam publisher Leopold. From 1990 onward, she devoted herself professionally to writing books for children and young adults. Her works received numerous awards and were translated into many languages.
