Sebastian Vogel

Sebastian Vogel (born 1955 in Berlin) studied biology in Heidelberg and Cologne and earned a doctorate in 1985. After a brief period as a journalist and author, he worked as a scientific and literary translator from the late 1980s onward. He translated more than 200 titles from English into German, including nonfiction works by authors such as Richard Dawkins, Stephen Jay Gould, Daniel Dennett, Jared Diamond, and Steven Pinker.
