Sebastian Vehlken

Sebastian Vehlken is a German media scholar. He studied film and television studies, journalism and economics at Ruhr University Bochum, and Media Studies at Edith Cowan University in Perth. From October 2010, he worked as a research associate at ICAM, the Institute for Culture and Aesthetics of Digital Media at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His academic interests include the theory and history of digital media, media theory, cybernetics and self-organizing systems, as well as the media history of sonar.
