Sabine Welte

Sabine Welte was born in Gevelsberg in 1958. After completing training in various administrative professions, she obtained her university entrance qualification through a second educational path and studied architecture. She later worked as a freelance journalist, combining her work with writing and photography. A motorcycle trip in 1997 sparked her interest in motorcycles and cars; she obtained a motorcycle licence and rode on a racetrack for the first time after just six months. Her particular interest was in people and their machines.
