Sabine Mangold

Sabine Mangold, born in 1957, studied German literature, art history and Japanese studies. She translated numerous Japanese authors into German, including Haruki Murakami, Yoko Ogawa and Kazuaki Takano. In recognition of her longstanding work, she received the Japan Foundation Translator Award in 2019.
