Michiko Aoyama

Michiko Aoyama, born in 1970 in Aichi Prefecture, worked for two years after graduating from university as a reporter for a Japanese newspaper in Sydney. After returning to Japan, she worked as a magazine editor at a Tokyo publishing house before turning to literary writing. Her novel Frau Komachi empfiehlt ein Buch became a bestseller in Japan and has been published in more than twenty countries.
