Rolf Nobel, born in Hamburg in 1950, is a photographer. His work has appeared in magazines including stern, GEO, Brigitte, Playboy and mare. From 1997 to 1998, he taught photojournalism at Muthesius University of Applied Sciences in Kiel. In 2000, he was appointed professor of photography at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and shortly afterward moved to Hannover University of Applied Sciences, where he taught photography in the Department of Design and Media. In 2005, he published the book »Europameister« with zu Klampen.
