Margit Erb is the founder of the Saul Leiter Foundation. From 1996 until Saul Leiter’s death in 2013, she represented the artist at Howard Green Gallery and assisted him in organizing his archive. Erb was involved in all books about Leiter’s work. Together with her husband, Michael Parillo, she contributed to the preservation of Leiter’s extensive archive, which is housed in the artist’s former studio in New York’s East Village.
