Rio Youers

Rio Youers wrote six novels as well as graphic novels and novel adaptations. His novel “Westlake Soul” was nominated for the Canadian Sunburst Award and the British Fantasy Award. “The Forgotten Girl” was a finalist for the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Crime Novel. His other novels included “Everdead,” “Mama Fish,” “Old Man Scratch,” “Point Hollow,” “Halcyon,” and “One Thousand Trees.” He was also recognized for his comic adaptation of Stephen and Owen King’s “Sleeping Beauties” and later wrote “Refrigerator Full of Heads,” a six-part DC Comics series.
