Richard Mabey

Richard Mabey was born in Berkhamsted in 1941. He studied at Oxford and worked for Penguin before increasingly devoting himself to writing about nature and its relationship with culture. He was described as a renewer of English nature writing. In 2012, Mabey was admitted to the Royal Society of Literature.
