Ralph Neubauer was born in Düsseldorf in 1960. Before retiring, he worked for four years at local courts and then for 36 years at the Ministry of Justice in Düsseldorf, holding positions including statistician, press officer and coordinator for legal education in schools. He was married and had two adult children. From 2010 onward, his crime series “Südtirolkrimi” was published by Athesia-Tappeiner Verlag, exploring the history, traditions, customs and ways of life in South Tyrol.
