Rainer Strecker

Rainer Strecker (born 1965) trained as an actor at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. From the mid-1980s onward, he worked in theatre, film and television, including the series “Tatort” and “Bella Block.” As an audiobook narrator, he became particularly known for his readings of Cornelia Funke’s “Inkheart” trilogy and the “Skulduggery Pleasant” series. In 2008, he received the Hörbuchpreis of the city of Eltville for his narration of “Skulduggery Pleasant – Das Groteskerium kehrt zurück.”
