Philipp Ruch (born 1981) is a philosopher, performance artist and founder of the Center for Political Beauty. As its artistic director, he developed provocative actions and productions opposing far-right extremism and advocating human rights, deliberately blurring the boundaries between fiction and reality. Ruch studied political philosophy and intellectual history and completed a doctorate. His books include *Wenn nicht wir, wer dann?*, *Schluss mit der Geduld* and *Es ist 5 vor 1933*. His work has been presented, among other places, at the GORKI Theater, the Berlin Biennale and Schauspiel Dortmund.
