Philina Hain was born in September 1994 and grew up on the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn. She began writing poetry and stories in childhood and attended her first writing workshops at the age of eleven. As a teenager, she developed an interest in romantic fantasy stories. Her fiction is associated with the Romantic Fantasy and Paranormal Romance genres. The publication of her Tavith series marked the realization of her ambition to become an author.
