Born in the United States in 1966, Phil Hester is an American comic book artist and writer. In the 1990s, he drew, among other projects, the SWAMP THING saga written by Mark Millar and Grant Morrison. His other work as an artist includes GREEN ARROW, BATMAN OF THE FUTURE, FLASH: SEASON ZERO, NIGHTWING, EL DIABLO, ANT-MAN, and the independent titles FAMILY TREE and SHIPWRECK. As a writer, Hester worked on WONDER WOMAN, THE DARKNESS, THE BLACK TERROR, and THUNDER AGENTS. He also created the original series MYTHIC.
