Robert Kirkman

Robert Kirkman is a comic-book writer and creator. He first gained recognition with the series “Invincible” and “The Walking Dead,” both launched in 2003. “The Walking Dead” became an internationally successful comic series and was adapted into a television series that Kirkman helped develop. His other works include “Marvel Zombies,” “Outcast,” “Oblivion Song,” “Die! Die! Die!” and “Fire Power.” Together with crime novelist Jay Bonansinga, he wrote novels set in the world of “The Walking Dead.” Kirkman also founded the publisher Funk-O-Tron and was involved in establishing Image Comics’ Skybound Entertainment imprint. According to his own account, his interest in comics was sparked by Iron Man comics read by his father.
