Peter Lehmann

Peter Lehmann is a qualified educator, social scientist with personal experience of psychiatry, author and publisher. He served for many years on the board of the European Network of (Ex-)Users and Survivors of Psychiatry (ENUSP), until 2010. His books on the effects and risks of psychiatric drugs include “Der chemische Knebel” (1986), “Schöne neue Psychiatrie” (1996) and “Psychopharmaka absetzen” (1998). In 2010, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki awarded him an honorary doctorate for his contribution to the rights of people affected by psychiatry. He received the Federal Cross of Merit in 2011.
