Annette Weber

Annette Weber (born 1956 in Lemgo) is a German author of children’s and young adult books. After studying education, she worked as a teacher for around two decades while also writing in her spare time. In 2002, she left the teaching profession to concentrate fully on writing. She has written numerous children’s and young adult books as well as novels for adults. Reading promotion is a particular focus of her work; her books often use simple language and short sentences, making them accessible to less confident readers.
