Peter Hoeg

Peter Høeg, born in Copenhagen in 1957, is a Danish writer. He gained international recognition and became a bestselling author with the novel »Smilla’s Sense of Snow« (1992). His other works include »The History of Danish Dreams«, »The Woman and the Ape«, »The Plan for the Abolition of Darkness«, »The Quiet Girl«, »The Elephant Keepers’ Children«, »The Susan Effect« and »Through Your Eyes«. He has also published the short-story collection »The Conditions of Love in the Night of March 19, 1929«.
