Peter Henning, born in Hanau in 1959, studied German and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main. He worked as a journalist for more than two decades and published novels, short stories and poetry. His novels include »Die Ängstlichen«, »Tod eines Eisvogels« and »Die Tüchtigen«. His literary work was supported by fellowships from the Kunststiftung NRW and the Robert Bosch Stiftung.
