Attica Locke

Attica Locke (born 1974 in Houston, Texas) is an American novelist and screenwriter. Her novels include Black Water Rising, The Cutting Season, Pleasantville, Bluebird, Bluebird, and Heaven, My Home. In 2018, Bluebird, Bluebird received the Edgar Award for Best Novel and the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award. Locke worked as a writer and producer on the television series Empire.
