Pei-yun Yu

Pei-yun Yu (born 1967) studied foreign languages and literature at National Taiwan University in Taipei and earned a doctorate from Ochanomizu University in Japan. She worked at the Institute of Children’s Literature at Taitung National University and as a critic, translator, and curator in the field of children’s and young adult literature. In 2016, she met the Taiwanese comic artist and publisher Tsai Kun-lin for the first time; their conversation led to the idea of documenting his life.
