Jian-xin Zhou

Born in southern Taiwan in 1973, Jian-xin Zhou studied printmaking at the National Academy of Arts in Taipei. He subsequently worked as a printmaker and teacher before becoming a freelance illustrator. In 2014, he received the Taiwan Golden Butterfly Award for Book Design for his first picture book; further major awards followed for his interpretations of texts. Together with Tsai Kun-lin, he created a graphic novel for the first time.
