Oliver Scherz

Oliver Scherz, born in Essen in 1974, studied acting at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig and worked as an actor. After the birth of his daughter, he turned to writing children’s books. His books have received various awards and been translated into numerous languages. In 2015, he was named Reading Artist of the Year by the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels.
