Nursima Nas was born in Hamburg in 1998. She attended the United World College in Italy and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Amsterdam. Nas works as an illustrator and uses visual art to engage with social issues. Her work has included projects for various organizations and workshops on art, identity, and political engagement. She is a co-founder and artistic director of MOSAIQ, an association focused on critically examining racism and power.
