Alexandra Ernst

Alexandra Ernst, born in 1965 in Wiesbaden, studied literary studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and worked in press and publicity for a publishing house. From 2000 onward, she worked as a translator of fiction, historical novels, fantasy and children’s and young adult literature. She also worked as a journalist and literary critic. Her translations received several nominations for, and an award from, the German Youth Literature Prize.
