Noemi Somalvico

Noemi Somalvico was born in Solothurn in 1994. She studied literary writing in Biel and Contemporary Arts Practice in Bern. In between, she worked in film, at schools and at receptions, among other occupations. Her short stories and poetry have appeared in magazines and anthologies, and have also been performed and read on the radio. Her debut novel, “Ist hier das Jenseits, fragt Schwein,” was published by Voland & Quist in 2022 and received the Literature Prize of the Canton of Bern.
