Nico Semsrott was born in Hamburg in 1986. He is a cabaret artist, satirist and demotivation trainer. He became known through poetry slams, solo programmes and online videos, and also appeared on the television programme “heute-show”. In 2017, he received the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis, a German cabaret award. In the 2019 European Parliament election, Semsrott was elected to the European Parliament as a satirist.
