Moshe Kahn (born 1942) is a German translator from Italian. He studied ancient Near Eastern studies, philosophy and rabbinic theology, and translated works by authors including Stefano D’Arrigo, Andrea Camilleri, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Primo Levi, Roberto Calasso and Luigi Malerba. One of his early projects was an Italian translation of a selection of poems by Paul Celan. In 2015, he received the German-Italian Translator’s Prize, the Jane Scatcherd Prize and the Paul Celan Prize for Lifetime Achievement for his translation of Stefano D’Arrigo’s novel *Horcynus Orca*.
