Milena Baisch

Milena Baisch (born 1976) is a German author of children’s and young adult books. She began writing stories for children while still at school, and her first children’s book was published in 1995. After studying at a film academy in Berlin, she also worked as a screenwriter for film and television. Her work includes radio plays as well as numerous picture books, read-aloud books, and books for beginning readers. In 2011, she received the German Youth Literature Prize.
