Michael Rosenberger

Michael Rosenberger (born 1962) is a German Catholic theologian and priest of the Diocese of Würzburg. He was ordained a priest in 1987. From 2002 onward, he taught moral theology at the Catholic Private University of Linz. His academic work focused particularly on environmental, animal and creation ethics, as well as theology and spirituality. He was also involved in an interdisciplinary working group researching human–animal relations and served on Austria’s Genetic Engineering Commission from 2004.
